After another beautiful sunrise & breakfast we all gathered together & traveled to the spectacularly inefficient Santorini Airport for our short flight to Athens.
Upon arrival we made a detour to the southernmost tip of the Attica peninsula to visit the Temple of Poseidon. Standing in a picturesque location, with commanding views over the Aegean, the temple plays an integral in the legend of Theseus!
Back in Athens mid-afternoon there was a short amount of free time for relaxing, sightseeing or just enjoying a pre-dinner drink.
Our farewell dinner was modern Greek cuisine at a rooftop restaurant in the center of Athens, by the Plaka, with views of the illuminated Acropolis. The perfect way to celebrate the end of a great trip together.
