At the classical site of Epidaurus we toured the small museum (complete with its collection of medical instruments from up to 2,500 years ago) & the fantastically intact theater, still used today.
At Mycenae we learned about the earlier Mycenean culture, half-shrouded in myth, & the real-life history of a people who took part in the legendary Trojan Wars.
Back in Nafplion this afternoon & evening were free to relax, to shop, or for more aightseeing to the museum or the imposing Palimidi Fortress that overlooks Nafplion from atop its highest mountain.
